Mountains, Methodists, and Moussaka

Ciao, ragazzi! It has been a beautiful weekend. From the chocolate festival (blog entry still to come!) and a trip to the small, hill-topped town of Fiesole to some totally legit middle-eastern food (seriously the best AND cheapest I've ever eaten) and actually going to the correct Methodist church this week (if you remember, last week I ended up in a Spanish church where no one spoke a word of English). This weekend has been fantastico.

Fiesole is a small town just 20 minute outside of Firenze. We were told that we should make the trip there because the views are fabulous. This was no lie. Despite the fact that it was a bit hazy, the views were gorgeous and the homes perched on the mountainside would remind anyone of the Hollywood hills. It was nice to get away from the craziness that is Firenze.

This is an ape (AH-PAY). It's a 3-wheeled truck and they're
everywhere in Italy.

If you look closely, you can see the Duomo in the middle
of the picture.

Most adorable...picture...EVER!

Ciao!
~Britt
